A Pure Sin original handmade item made by myself; this item is just for you! This lovely Mexican opal aka dragons breath necklace has a 18 inch antique silver toned necklace and setting. Additionally, the glass cabochon itself is a very small circle. The color of this czech glass has dreamy and lush color that is very mesmerizing. Reds, pinks, blues, purples, sometimes even yellowish orange depending on how the sun or light shines on it. One of the most beautiful colors ever. A personal favorite, this stone is sure to please and wow!
Mexican Opal, also known as Dragon’s Breath, is a collector’s nickname for man-made stones that are made of glass and mixed with certain metals to produce a brilliant color shifting effect. Colors shift from a deep to bright red with flashes of electric blue and even purples. The flashes of color from within the stone are known as the "breath" from which the name is derived. Mexican Opals were first used in jewelry in the early 1900’s to simulate fire/jelly opals. Highly collectible and rare – this lovely stone is a certain conversation piece and will become a cherished favorite.

I usually have on hand antique silver toned necklaces measuring at 16, 18, 20, 24, and 30 inches, and black ribbon cord at 16 inches (best for black and white/ivory cameos in my opinion ) solid black cord just tied in a not(at what size in inches you want), leather braided (16 inches) 18,24 inch antique silver ball chain necklaces, black and brown leather suede (at what size in inches you want)
This comes with a lovely white box with twine perfect for safe keeping and gift giving:)
